Working out doesn't have to feel difficult. Many people believe that working out has to be a strenuous activity. Although it's true that the majority of gym equipment, especially treadmills, can be very intense, elliptical trainers can offer a full body workout with far less effort.

This doesn't mean you won't work up a sweat, but you will achieve calorie burn without the risk of injury associated with treadmills and rowing machines.

But are they any good?

Another exciting feature of an elliptical trainer is the ability to use reverse motion. Going in reverse motion will work out your calf muscles and shin splints and target areas of the body that other fitness equipment cannot reach. Going in the reverse motion might feel rather awkward at first but after a short time you'll start to get the hang of it and you'll really feel the benefit.

If you combine a healthy nutritional diet with regular use of you're elliptical machine, you'll soon start to see changes in your body after only a couple of weeks. During the first couple of weeks make sure to vary the workouts you choose. This will ensure you gain the maximum benefit and prevent boredom from creeping in which could result in you giving up and not achieving your goals for fitness and weight loss.

So yes, they are good! In fact, they're awesome.
